Blink

Your life could depend on this. Don't blink! Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast, faster than you can believe. Don't turn your back, don't look away, and don't blink. Good luck.

Spookiest episode in years.

Whoa, still awake?

Hello! Moderator here...

Well, seeing as there hasn't been any new posts in ohhhhh....about five years, it might be just about time for an update.

The title of this community is one liners, but all sorts of length of quotes are acceptable! Spoiler quotes should go behind a cut. What qualifies as a spoiler quote? This would be any quotes from the upcoming new series with Matt Smith, which is series 6....or series 42, depending on where you start counting. All of the David Tennant era is off of the spoiler list...unless you feel it would spoil the ending of a particular episode for a newbie, but that's your own discretion.

I just updated a group of tags too, so now you can tag your post with whichever Doctor said what. I'm currently working on getting companion names in there, which might take awhile. If you have any other tags that should be added, comment to this post to let me know.

And, just to get the ball rolling again...

"Have you ever thought what it's like, to be wanderers in the fourth dimension? Have you? ...to be exiles?"

Ta-da!

The community has a new look! It's patterned after the infamous scarf if it wasn't obvious enough.

Another reminder too to keep all spoiler quotes behind a cut. Spoiler quotes count as being any quotes from series 2 with tennant and series 1 with eccleston that haven't been shown in the united states yet. Thanks!

science-blogger quotes Dr. Who

Respectful Insolence: Sunday random blogging: A little wisdom, courtesy of the Doctor:
Lord Runolfr recently reminded me of a bit of wisdom, courtesy of the Doctor (fourth Doctor, played by Tom Baker) from the episode entitled The Face of Evil. Here's the quote:
You know, the very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. They don't alter their views to fit the facts. They alter the facts to fit their views. Which can be uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.
Apply this quote as you see fit. It certainly rings true.
Orac goes through a few other choice Dr. Who quotes, reminding some of us just why we love the show.
